David is GRIT Events' master of on-day execution. He runs event days with the calm authority of someone who has planned for every possible scenario — because he genuinely has.

"Has a walkie-talkie he doesn't technically need but refuses to give up. His contingency plans have contingency plans. Once printed a runsheet for a 4-hour event that was 12 pages long. We love him."

Lena transforms empty spaces into worlds. Her specialty is floral design and décor styling — she approaches every setup as a sculptor approaches raw material, coaxing beauty out of every element.

"Cannot walk past a flower arrangement — any flower arrangement, anywhere — without mentally redesigning it. Her home is essentially a botanical garden with a bed in it. She calls it 'living with intention.'"

Fatuma manages GRIT Events' entire vendor network — sourcing, vetting, briefing, and maintaining relationships with the best suppliers across Nairobi and East Africa. She knows everyone worth knowing.

"Has a contact for literally everything. Need a chandelier at 10pm the night before an event? She knows someone. Rare flowers from Nakuru by Friday? Already sorted. We suspect she was a spy in a previous life."

Zara is the heartbeat of every client relationship at GRIT Events. She ensures every client feels heard, informed, and genuinely cared for throughout the planning journey — from first enquiry to final thank you.

"Remembers the name of every client's dog, mother, and childhood best friend. Sends 'thinking of you' messages before clients even know they need them. Is genuinely, actually, unreasonably kind. We think she is superhuman."

Tony manages the physical reality of every GRIT event — transportation, equipment movement, setup coordination, and teardown. He is the reason everything arrives exactly when and where it should.

"Arrives first. Leaves last. Has never once complained about either. Treats a perfectly loaded equipment truck the way an artist treats a finished painting — with quiet pride and a single nod of satisfaction."
